In its latest white paper, EDF Renewables Germany shows how local battery storage can both reduce grid costs and make a significant contribution to the success of the energy transition in Germany.

Battery storage solutions reduce the energy costs of industrial companies and at the same time contribute significantly to the stabilisation of the grids in the scope of the energy transition. They can be used locally and can flexibly balance loads in the electricity grid - thus helping grid operators to make the electricity grid controllable or to keep it stable.
